Descent into crime, boots and all    Wanted: Three audience members for drive-through thriller. Back-seat drivers welcome, but must enjoy 35-minute parking sessions without fidgeting and bawling "Are we there yet?"    Descent Four: Empire producer Anniene Stockton is confident she will get the passengers she needs.     From Wednesday, Stockton will fill the back seats of five cars behind North Melbourne Town Hall - with paying voyeurs to a kidnapping. The actors fill the front seats.     "The story is two old friends who've kidnapped a woman," she said. "You come in where there's a discussion about what they're going to do."     Each car has a different cast all telling the same story.     Stockton said she expected a strong reaction to the hate-crime story, which she describes as challenging. Descent Four : Empire previews on Wednesday at 7pm at North Melbourne Town Hall. P3, MX, September, 2004 |
